The motto of the SCHICK-degustation menu is "a view to indulgence", which has been demonstrated with numerous highlights already at the start-up on Monday, March 19th, 2012:
- Executive chef Johannes Reiser was supported by a Spanish first-class chef, Mr. Marc Pi of the Restaurante Irreductibles at Gratallops / Tarragona, in creating and preparing the degustation menu in six (6) courses - veritable delicious treats were served.
- The first-class winemaker Christof Höpler served and presented noble wines of his vineyard at Breitenbrunn. The multiple decorated vinery (IWC - International Wine Challange London, regional medias, Falstaff, etc.) ranges within the best wineyards of Austria, from white wines to dessert wines. Our expert and partner of Spanish wines, Mrs Beate Espinoza-Mayr / Bodega Rioja, hosted through the world of Spanish wines and explained the accompanying wine specialities.
- It did not stop here - the grand final was the tasting of the different whisky variations and liqueurs from "Waldviertler Roggenhof", the first Austrian whisky distillery, represented through Ms Mag. Jasmin Haider.
(Price: Euro 111.00 per person, inkl. aperitif, degustation menu with cover, wine accompaniment from Austria and Spain, mineral water, coffee and tasting of Austrian whisky specialities)
